National Citizen Survey Report

This Spring, the City of Hamilton contracted with National Research Center, Inc. to conduct The National Citizen Survey™ (The NCS™). The survey captured opinions of a representative sample selected from 1,200 residents of Hamilton, who were mailed invitations to complete the survey. According to the NCS™ survey, Hamilton had the highest rating for drinking water of the 545 communities surveyed nationwide, and indicated improvement in a number of other categories.

The 2015 survey results include the following reports:

- Community Livability Report: This report captures what makes a community livable, attractive and a place where people want to be.

- Dashboard Summary of Findings: A summary of resident ratings across the eight facets and three pillars of a livable community.

- Trends over Time: This report compares the 2015 ratings for the City of Hamilton to its previous survey results in 2011.

In addition to the complete report, we have created the following info graphic to summarize the "Trends over Time" report provided by the National Research Center. This graphic details the 29 survey topics where Hamilton showed the most improvement as well as a few other interesting statistics the National Citizen Survey results provided.
