Don Ryan, Mayor
Don Ryan joined Council in 2000 and became Mayor in 2002. He joined Council because of his interest in enhancing the city’s global presence by attracting manufacturing investment. He graduated from the Hamilton City Schools and Miami University. Don has been employed with several Fortune 500 manufacturing firms.



Pat Moeller, Vice Mayor
 

Pat Moeller joined Council in 2004 as Vice Mayor of the city. He believes his background in law and law enforcement, as well as his history of community involvement at volunteering, assists him in his City Council duties. He attended Hamilton City Schools and graduated from Ohio State University and Chase College of Law. He is an attorney and former County Assistant Prosecutor.



Kathy Becker
Kathy Becker was born and raised in Butler County and has been a resident of Hamilton since 1991. She attended Miami University and has a Social Work Assistance License. Ms. Becker works for Transitional Living as the coordinator for Homeless and Criminal Justice Services. She joined the City Council in 2000.



Jim Noonan
 


Jim joined Council in 2002 to give something back to his community. He was born and raised in Toronto, Ohio. Jim and his family moved to the city of Hamilton in 1966. He attended the University of Steubenville and then went on to the Cincinnati College where he graduated with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is semi-retired from his career as funeral director of Webb-Noonan Funeral Home.



Edward Shelton
 

Ed joined Council in 2002. His goal as a council member is to see Hamilton flourish, offer jobs to young people and to help the City in its challenging times. He graduated from Fairfield Public Schools and attended Miami University and Xavier University. Ed has been a member of the Hamilton Police Department as well as a Butler County Commissioner. He is now President of Shelton & Sons Development Inc.

Carla Fiehrer
 

Carla Fiehrer joined Council in 2008. She was born in Hamilton, graduated from Talawanda High School and attended both Miami University-Hamilton and Xavier University – Cincinnati. Prior to joining Council, Carla was serving on the Ordinance Review Committee and the Vision 2020 Committee. She has volunteered on numerous other boards and committees in the community.
   
Archie Johnson

 

Archie was born and raised in the City of Hamilton. He graduated from the first class of Hamilton High School after the reconsolidation in 1981 and Miami University (Hamilton). He serves as the proud pastor of Towns Chapel C.M.E. Church. Archie hopes to add diversity to the current council and hopes that he will be able to open up lines of communication for all people.
