Butler County Department of Job and Family Services: The
Butler County Workplace - Workforce Investment Act
The WIA Program is a federally funded program that provides
employment and training opportunities for business and
individuals.
Individuals qualifying for the programs can be placed into the
job market, receive classroom training or on-the-job training at
no cost.
Employers who wish to take advantage of the program are rewarded
a tax credit while on-the-job training occurs.

The OITP provides Hamilton with quality training solutions to
needs resulting from start-ups, expansion, changing technology,
or required upgrading. Attention can be given to nearly every

provided by the program.

Hamilton City School District - Job Development Center
The Hamilton City District's Job Development Center offers
education and training for adults. The Center provides a
variety of services ranging from a one year
Management/Supervisory Development Program to free counseling
for prospective small business persons.

The Human Relations Department is responsible for assisting

Workforce One
Workforce One works to provide a “one-stop-shop” that makes

Ohio Employment Services (OES)
Formerly the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, OES screens,
interviews, tests, and recruits individuals and groups of job
applicants at no charge to you. OES also provides access to a
national pool of qualified workers as a part of the computerized
National Job Bank System.
