Explore Hamilton's unique park system with 40 recreational facilities,
17 parks and 1,300 acres of natural and wooded parkland. There are four
major picnic areas within Hamilton's park system. They include Crawford's
Woods, Joyce Park, Veteran's Park and Millikin Woods. Discover peaceful
hiking and miles of paved pathways on the scenic banks of the Great Miami
River for walking, biking or in-line skating.
Each park is equipped with picnic tables, shelters, grills, restrooms,
playground equipment and parking facilities.

Picnic Shelters
Picnic and log cabin reservations may be made in person in the Parks and
Recreation Department located in the One Renaissance Center. No reservations
will be accepted over the phone and the reservation charge must be paid at
the time the reservation is made. The Parks and Recreation Department begins
taking picnic shelter reservations on the first working day of January.
All shelters hold 32 people; 1 shelter at Joyce Park holds 100, and 1
shelter at Veteran’s Park holds 48 people. Electric is available at select
shelters only.
Picnic shelters may be reserved for a charge of $15.00 (resident) or $20.00
(non-resident). The fee to reserve a log cabin at Joyce Park is $25.00
(resident) and $30.00 (non-resident).
Michael J. Colligan Lodge
Located in Veteran's Park at 20 New London Road, the beautifully restored Michael J. Colligan
Lodge is available for organizational meetings and social events. Originally
built in 1932, the Lodge is fully equipped with a caterer's kitchen
including, microwave oven, warmer oven, electric oven, ice machine, garbage
disposal, dishwasher and reach-in refrigerator. Outfitted with a beautiful
fireplace, piano and new terrace, the 2,000 square foot Lodge may accommodate up to
84 guests. Weather permitting, use of the terrace is available to
accommodate additional guests.

Twin Run
Clubhouse
Located at 2505 Eaton Road, Golf Course’s Clubhouse is available from
November 1 to May 31. Any one of the 5 rooms can be rented. The meeting room
can hold up to 40 people and the large dining room can hold up to 100
people.
