The City of Hamilton Health Department focuses on providing quality healthcare services and support to residents of the community. 

Copies of birth and death certificates for natives of the city of Hamilton are available through the Health Department. Information regarding local adoptions may also be obtained from the Department.  Additionally, adult and adolescent immunizations are available through the local health clinic.

Licensing and inspecting food service operations and investigating nuisance complaints including interior and exterior housing and non-residential property inspections, are some of the primary functions of the Department.

The Health Department is also available to assist with animal control investigations including stray or injured animals and animal neglect.
