The Citizens Leadership Academy of Hamilton, Ohio is an eight-week community and leadership development program designed to educate, enlighten, and empower residents to be leaders and advocates in their communities. This leadership training will allow Hamilton residents to develop an understanding of their role in local government and to learn ways to create insightful solutions to important community issues and needs.

Training sessions will meet for eight weeks on Saturdays from 9am to 3pm, beginning on January 20, 2007. Training session dates for the 2007 Citizens Leadership Academy are as follows: January 20, January 27, February 3, February 10, February 24, March 3, March 17, and March 31, 2007. Lunch will be provided to all participants in each of the training sessions.

Applications for this training program are being accepted until December 29, 2006. Once all applications have been collected, interviews will be conducted to determine the 30 individuals who will be selected to participate in the 2007 Citizens Leadership Academy. You must be able to attend all eight sessions to participate in the leadership training program.
