Planning Commission – The Planning Commission is responsible for
reviewing rezonings, planned unit developments, preliminary and final
subdivision plats, street and alley vacations, street name changes, and
then forwarding recommendations to the City Council for final action. The
Planning Commission meets the first and third Monday of every month,
except scheduled City holidays, at 1:30 pm in the City Council Chambers,
One Renaissance Center, 1st Floor, 345 High Street.
The Planning Commission is comprised of seven voting members and a
secretary:

Board of Zoning Appeals – The Board of Zoning Appeals is
responsible for hearing and deciding appeals and variances to the City of
Hamilton zoning ordinance. In addition, the Board reviews requests for the
establishment of conditional uses in certain zoning districts. The Board
of Zoning Appeals meets the first Thursday of every month, except
scheduled City holidays, at 2:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, One
Renaissance Center, 1st Floor, 345 High Street.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is comprised of five voting members and a
secretary:

Architectural Design Review Board – The Architectural Design Review
Board is responsible for reviewing alteration, construction,
reconstruction, erection, removal or exterior work proposals that will
affect the exterior architectural and/or historic features or appearance
of a structure, site, monument, streetscape, or neighborhood that is
subject to the Historic Preservation District regulations. The Historic
Design Review Board meets as needed, generally at 42:00 pm in the Planning
Department Main Conference Room, 3rd Floor, One Renaissance Center, 3rd
Floor, 345 High Street.
The Architectural Design Review Board is comprised of nine voting members
and a secretary:
