The Services Division provides administrative and technical services to members of the Hamilton Police Department. Security at the Hamilton Municipal Court is also provided by the Services Division. The division is commanded by a lieutenant and supervised by a sergeant.

The Services Division is responsible for maintaining the department's information systems. These systems consist mainly of computer terminals, both departmental and mobile.

Among the Division's responsibilities is the procurement and implementation of new technologies for our department, and the continual accreditation improvement process.

The Services Division improved security at police headquarters. This was accomplished by installing a new video surveillance system, and a keyless entry system.

The goal of the Services Division is to support both the Operations and Administrative Bureaus of the Hamilton Police Department.
