The City of Hamilton Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining much of the City’s infrastructure to provide a safe and pleasant environment for the community. Among its many responsibilities are traffic and transportation planning, design and maintenance of the City street system, and maintenance of the storm and sanitary sewer systems.  Operation and oversight of the parking meters, municipal parking garage, and management of the refuse collection and disposal programs are also services of this Department.
