The City of Hamilton owns and operates four major utility systems to serve businesses and residents in the greater Hamilton area including gas, water, electric and wastewater.

Hamilton receives raw water from 19 deep wells in the Great Miami Valley Buried Aquifer, considered to be one of the best sources of high-quality water in the country. Currently the largest municipal gas distribution operation in Ohio, Hamilton continues to invest in its unique utility system. These investments result in the state-of-the-art asset for the community, one that provides excellent utility services along with competitive rates.

Establishing a new utility connection or terminating an old one, our Utilities Customer Service team is ready to assist you. They can help with budget payment plans, take applications for service, and administer credit and collections activities among other things. You can reach them at 785-7100 from 8a.m. to 5p.m. They are located at 345 High Street, 1st Floor, Hamilton, OH 45011.
