The Central Records Section is an integral part of all major police departments. Information kept in Central Records must be accurate and up-to-date.
The Central Records Section is staffed by civilians and processes all crime reports, accident reports, records of arrests, warrants, photographs, field interrogation cards, criminal files and citations as well as compiled statistical reports for our department, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I), the Federal Bureau of Identification (FBI), and various other governmental agencies.
All warrants and summons from the Hamilton Municipal Court are processed in this section.
This section also makes it possible for the public to retrieve their accident reports online from the convenience of their home or office.
The hours for the Central Records Section are 8:00am - 3:30pm Monday through Thursday.
