Power Outage or Other Hazardous Situation

If you have lost power due to a downed tree or limb on the power line or other hazardous situation, or are experiencing flickering lights, voltage problems, smoking or sparking from the power lines, contact the City’s Emergency Utility Service immediately at 513.785.7550 – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your safety is important to us. Stay away from all power lines. Assume they are live and dangerous.

Request a Tree Inspection or Other Service

Let us know if you believe a tree is growing too close to one of our power lines. We can assess the situation to determine if the tree needs attention before the next scheduled trimming.  You can also report if a tree in the public right-of-way needs to be trimmed or removed, or if you suspect a tree in the public right-of-way was removed or trimmed without a permit.

Please log in to the City’s online 311 Service Request Center and select one of the following options:
  • Community Development – Report dead tree in right-of-way
  • Community Development – Right-of-way tree removal
  • Community Development – Tree in public right-of-way removed or trimmed without permit
  • Electric – Request a tree inspection
  • Public Works – Request tree or bush be trimmed
  • Public Works – Tree limbs overhanging street or sidewalk need pruning
