After hearing appeals made by property owners (or their legal representative) who have timely filed an appeal after having their property declared a Public Nuisance by the City of Hamilton Health Commissioner, the Nuisance Appeal Board renders a decision to either accept the Health Commissioners Nuisance Declaration, or accept the appeal with the conditions appellant has requested.
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.
Appellant Must Appeal in Writing.
Within thirty (30) days after receipt of these notices, or within thirty (30) days after any other determination has been made by the Commissioner of Health, any addressee above may make a demand for an appeal hearing. A demand for an appeal hearing must be submitted, in writing to the Planning Director, 345 High Street, 3rd Floor, Suite 370, Hamilton OH 45011.
