Street Sweeping

SweeperStreet Sweepers will follow the schedule below for 2018. The goal of this schedule is to sweep every street in Hamilton every two weeks. Once the following two week routes have been completed, the sweepers will start over at the beginning of the schedule.  All three street sweepers will be on the same route, on the same day.  Street sweeping is expected to start on April 30th and continue on this rotation until November 30th (weather dependent) this year.

To help us keep our streets clean, residents should park their cars off of the street (if possible) on the day that the sweepers are going to be in their neighborhood. Residents can also help out by making sure that their trees and bushes are trimmed away from the curb and tree branches are at least 15 feet above the street level. If tree limbs are hanging lower than 15 feet above the street, the sweepers will not be able to get close enough to the curb to sweep up all of the debris.
