July 4th Celebration

The theme for the 2017 4th of July Parade and Patriotic program is “Celebrating Hamilton’s History With its Churches”. The parade begins at 10:00 at the Butler County Fairgrounds and ends at the Butler County Court House. Following the parade there will be a Patriotic program at the Butler County Court House. During the program Pastor Shaquila Mathews will deliver the Invocation and Pastor John Lewis will deliver the keynote address. Other 4th of July activities will include a Taste of Hamilton throughout the day around the courthouse and open houses of local historical sites from 11:00 to 4:00. Live music will be at the Courthouse Gazebo from 3:30 to 5:30. At RiversEdge Amphitheater, “Outa Here” will perform at 6:30 and Noah Wotherspoon will be on stage at 8:30. At 10:00 the community will be treated to a fireworks show launched from Veteran’s Park sponsored by the RiversEdge Concert Series and David Shaw’s Big River Get Down.
